About As Is Productions

As Is Productions started in 2005 when Nick Snowden and Chris Churchwell started working on Austin Amped. Chris and Nick started working together on Austin Amped in hopes of offering a virtual space for bands that want exposure. The dream was to have a place that Austin could go to in order to discover new talent. Once the site was up it was left to the bands to up keep their music as well as gigs for Austin to come hear them.

As Is Productions also has had a studio available for bands that have not made a current demo for fans to hear. With the ability to record and produce a working demo as well as give a place for exposure As Is Productions has always been about the band and their fans. Austin Amped was always free for the bands as well as the user with the only income coming from advertisements.
